Photo‐Induced Tellurium Segregation in MoTe 2

چکیده
We report on the coherent phonon spectroscopy of polymorphic MoTe2 single crystals using a femtosecond-pulsed laser to investigate relationship between structural phase transitions and photo-thermal effects induced by high-density excitation. Even when femtosecond pulsed was used, which generally induces fewer heat accumulation than case for CW laser, tellurium segregation observed in spectra with increasing excitation density, while no transition among polymorphs observed. The use higher photon-energy excitation, however, found suppress segregation. This article is protected copyright. All rights reserved.

Mobile Mote
In many distributed sensor applications such as studying bird migration patterns, it is necessary to track down and retrieve data from a specific mobile object tagged with sensors and radio transceivers. Because these objects are mobile and operate over a wide area, it is expensive and sometimes impossible to build a single wide-area sensor network that covers all areas of operations. During pe...
متن کاملThe mote connectivity protocol
An attractive architecture for sensor networks is to have the sensing devices mounted on small computers, called motes. Motes are battery-powered, and can communicate in a wireless fashion by broadcasting messages over radio frequency. In mote networks, the connectivity of a mote u can be defined by those motes that can receive messages from u with high probability and those motes from which u ...

In this paper, a development of sensor node for environment monitoring is described. The Reconfigurable System-On-chip (RSOC) technology is used to integrate the node’s main components on FieldProgrammable Gate Array (FPGA) chip. The main components required to support the environmental applications such as pixels sensor, reconfigurable processing core, and a tiny solar unit for recharging node...
متن کاملSpatial Segregation in Demography: A Short Review
Abstract. Spatial has always been an inherent component of demography, and demographic processes are inherently spatiotemporal. Recognizing the importance of spatial in general and spatial segregation in particular in demographic analysis has created new positions in demography and its conceptual and analytical frameworks. The notion of spatial segregation refers to the distribution of social...
